- Lie on your back with your arms at your sides.
- While your are keeping your arms stationary at your sides, slowly lift both legs together. Keep the legs side by side and straight. It will only take one repetition for you to feel the muscles in your lower abs working extremely hard.
- After you raise your legs in the air as high as possible you will then slowly lower them to the ground. That is one repetition.
Abdominal Curls
Abdominal curls are another one of my favourite lower ab exercises because you are lifting your knees and your upper body at the same time. - Lie on your back with your hands behind your head and your knees bent.
- Now raise your bent knees together off of the ground to about mid stomach level. At the same time you will be curling forward with your upper body. Curl forward as far as you can to the point of comfort.
